A Letter to My Readers

Fall means it is time for brilliant colored leaves in shades of red, orange, yellow, and purple. It’s time for the sweet and warm smell of cinnamon, pumpkin spice, and hot apple cider. And pumpkins, bright orange pumpkins in all sizes.

For me, it is also time for a fall refresh for this blog!

Hello, everyone,

It feels like it’s been a while. For those who have been following my writing, you might have noticed I took a step back from writing this blog to spend some time with family. I had hoped to do some picture book writing, but life, as it often does, had other plans for me, and I stepped away from the keyboard.
But I’m so happy to say that I’m back!

Why the Change?

While I wasn’t writing daily, I was still a storyteller at heart. I found myself jotting down ideas, observing children around me, and rediscovering the sheer joy of reading other people’s words. It was a period of recharging, and it was exactly what I needed to come back stronger and with a renewed sense of purpose.

What’s Next

Now, let’s talk about this blog. I’m thrilled to announce that I will be sharing even more content with you. Why? Because there is so much more for me to share as an author. I will share the great content with more tips, insights, resources, interviews and more. It’s going to be a wonderful adventure and I hope that you will be joining me.

Do not forget that books make great gifts. Books can be read over and over again. They are the gift that keeps on giving. Don’t forget classroom teachers, they love to get children’s books for their libraries. It is my wish to get as many books as I can into the hands of children. Children need books and you can help by sharing a book with a child.

With gratitude …
