National Authors Day is celebrated each year on November 1st. It is a day dedicated to celebrating the art of writing and recognizing authors who bring stories to life. I am proud to say that I am a published children’s author. I fell in love with children’s books when I was in college. One of the required education classes was a course in Children’s Literature. As an elementary school teacher, I loved reading stories to my students and during school breaks I would spend time writing stories. Creating characters for my stories is where I have the most fun writing. Do you have a favorite part of writing stories?
What is National Author’s Day?
National Authors Day is an annual observance that encourages people to recognize and celebrate the contributions of authors to literature and culture. It’s a day to express gratitude to authors for their creativity and dedication to storytelling. I am particularly grateful on this day for my grandmother and mother who shared their love of stories with me.
